Put your home battery on autopilot.
LoadShift optimises charging, discharging, and self-use against real energy prices — so you buy low, sell high, and stop babysitting schedules.
How it works
LoadShift connects to your inverter and tariff data, then produces a daily plan (and updates it when it matters). You can always see what it’s doing and why.
Connect your setup
Link your inverter, battery, and tariff with secure API access.
We model tomorrow
Forecast prices, solar generation, and battery limits to compute the best actions.
Your system runs itself
Charge when cheap, discharge/export when expensive, and self-use when sensible.
Why LoadShift
This is built for real tariffs, real constraints, and real people who don’t want to micromanage half-hour slots.
Tariff-aware, not time-based
Optimises against actual half-hourly prices — not “charge at 01:00” forever.
Battery-safe by design
Respects SoC limits, inverter constraints, and sensible cycling behaviour.
Explainable decisions
See the plan and the reasoning. No mystical black box.
Simple pricing, no savings games
The app isn’t ready yet — we’re assembling a small private beta to shape it with real households.
Private beta (founder cohort)
Early beta users will get founder pricing when we launch. No percentage cuts. No gimmicks. Just a flat subscription.
What you’ll get in beta
A working early version focused on:
- Daily plan preview + overrides
- Octopus Agile support
- Export-aware optimisation
- FoxESS first (more brands next)
FAQ
The questions people ask before they let software touch their electricity.
Will this mess with my inverter settings?
No. LoadShift operates within configured safety thresholds and device limits. Manual override is always available.
What if prices spike unexpectedly?
LoadShift recalculates plans regularly and can adjust based on price changes and battery state.
Can I override it?
Always. You can pause automation, choose self-use, or force a charge/discharge window.
Is my energy data safe?
We aim for least-privilege access, store only what’s needed to operate, and never sell your data.
Do I need solar for this to be useful?
Solar helps, but tariff optimisation can still pay off with a battery alone (especially on dynamic tariffs).
When will LoadShift launch?
As soon as it’s solid. The private beta comes first so we can validate behaviour across real homes and setups.
